Nach 2 Tagen in Alor Setar haben wir uns auf den Weg in die Cameron Highlands gemacht. Wunderschoene Landschaft auf 1600 meter Hoehe, nur leider viel von der Natur zerstoert, durch Gemuese Anbau. Die beiden Hauptorte, haben auch nicht wirklich viel zu bieten, doch ist das Klima einfach schoen, bei 25 Grad am Tag und nur 16 Grad in der Nacht kann man herrliche Wanderungen unternehmen und den Besuch der teeplantagen geniessen.
After 2 nights in Alor Setar we went further South to the Cameron Highlands. Wow, they have really built a highway through the montains. Yogurt loved each and every bend....:-)). it was sad to see a lot of fruit and vegetable farms built up there in the jungle....the two main villages are nothing to write home about either, but the climate was just nice and cool, only 16 degrees in the night time and about 25 throughout the day. This weather is just made for hiking and visiting the tea plantations.
