Doi Saket March - April

After Lynn had left I still needed another 4 weeks until I was able to walk without crutches. Thanks to Bernard and Tiou I was able to do my exercises in the pool and hence recovered faster than expected.

Nachdem Lynn uns Ende Februar wieder verlassen hatte, muste ich noch weiter 4 Wochen an Kruecken gehen . Dank Bernard und Tiou konnte ich allerdings viele Uebunen im Pool machen und habe mich so schneller erholt, als erwartet.

Rusty, the beagle that has been abandoned by our ex-Australian neighbours has decided to adopt us ....
Ausserdem hat Rusty, der Beagle unserer Ex Nachbarn uns adoptiert, sie haben ihn naemlich zurueckgelassen.

Dann kam noch Tiger, eine dritte Katze, zum Fresen vorbei....

From April 6th to April 8th we did a visa run to Mae Sai, thanks to Bernard and Tiou for taking care of Rusty and the kitties....We went from Doi Saket to Phayao from Phayao to Mae Sai  spent a night in Thathon - from there we visited Fang Hot Spring and then spent another 2 nights in  Chiang Rai to start the research.

The next day we were crossing over to Fang and then decided to spend the night in Thaton.

From there we went to do the vida run and then spend the last night in Chiang Rai - before getting to Chiang Rai we stopped at the White Temple. An amazing building, being under construction for the last 12 years....

On April 15th on time for Songkran, Helga arrived, and we spent three lovely days together. A shame, she had to travel on :-(
