We had a lovely surprise the other day. Michael Skott, Michael´s cousin from the States, who now lives in Hot called and they came all the way from Hot to join us for our British-Frensh-Thai BBQ... great night. It was so good to catch up after 13 years when we last met in Switzerland.

Eine tolle Ueberraschung hatten wir, als Michael Skott, Michael Skozcylas amerikanischer Cousin uns anrief und sagte er lebe jetzt in Hot mit seiner Frau. Da wir an dem Abend eh ein englisch-franzoeisches-BBQ geplant hatten, kamen die beiden spontan den langen Weg von Hot und es war ein gelungener Abend
The Loy Krathong the Buddhist Ligh Festival came up and we did not want to spend it in the city with the masses, we went up to Tharnthong Lodge 30 kms North of our village and combined it with some research in Mae Kamphon, an eco- tourism village in the mountains.
Loy Krabtong das buddhistische Lichterfestival fand fuer uns in den Bergen statt, abseits der Massen, die sich in der Stadt trafen. So haben wir es dann auch noch mit Recherche in Mae Kamphong verbunden, einem kleinen Dorf in den Bergen ca. 30 km noerdlich von Doi Saket.

After Giraffe had another mini surgery, again cortisone injections in the spine, he thought it a good idea to find out on the injections efficiency and we did a motorbike tour to Phayao - Biggi and Reini came along in their car...
Juergen hatte eine weitere Mini OP, er musste sich wieder Kortison in den Spinalkanal spritzen lassen. Um zu testen, ob der Eingriff auch effizient war haben wir eine Toeff Tour nach Phayao gemacht.....Biggi und Reini kamen im Auto mit.
