Xmas and New Year 2011/2012

We had a very quiet and relaxed x-mas time and a great surprise for New Year's Eve, as Sylvia and Joachim came to visit!!! Two days were far too short - a longer stay is planned for 2012! For New Years Eve we had a nice dinner hat Him Restaurant, had a Birthday Drink with Eve at Pizza Plus and then started the New Year with a fire in the garden....

On January 1st, we went to Thanathorn Lodge in the National Park and ended the evening in our favourite restaurant in the rice fields - thanks Sylvia for taking a look at Tarot....

Weihnachten verlief ruhig und gemuetlich und dann kam als Neujahrs Ueberraschung der Besuch von Sylvia und Joachim, der leider nur 2 Tage dauerte, aber ein laengerer Aufenthalt ist geplant!
Nach dem gemuetlichen Essen im Him Restaurant, haben wir noch auf Eve's Geburtstag im Pizza Plus angestossen und anschliessend beim Lagerfeuer im Garten das Neue Jahr begruesst.
Am 1. Januar ging es dann zur Thanathorn Lodge im Nationalpark und anschliessend legte Sylvia uns noch die Tarot Karten im Reisfeld - Restauran!

December 2011

Time is flying by so fast and soon it was time to fly to Krabi end of November to do some marketing for t-Globe... I spent a nice eve out with Charo and Estelita.
Shortly after my arrival in Doi Saket, Rich came to see us and we spent three lovely days together. Riding up to Doi Suthep and Mae On with the scooters...Unfortunately we were not able to realise all our plans as Rich got seriously sick with pneumonia and spent the rest of his holidays and even longer time in hospital!!!

Die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug und Ende November war es dann schon wieder fuer mich so weit nach Krabi zu fliegen und fuer T-Globe die Marketing Trommel zu ruehren. Dabei hatte ich auch noch die Moeglichkeit mit Charo and Estelita auszugehen, bevor die nach Argentinien gehen. Kurz nach meiner Ankunft in Dpi Saket kam auch schon Rich fuer ein paar Tage und wir sind mit dem Scooter zum Doi Suthep und nach Mae On gefahren. Leider is Rich ernsthaft krank geworden und wir konnten viele Sachen nicht realisieren, da er den Rest seiner Ferien und noch laenger mit Lungenentzuendung im Spital verbracht hat...

It was only 13 Degrees at 1.500 metres - however Rich has declared the day as National Flip Flop Day and set off in shorts.....

Back in Thailand

I came back to Thailand on November 14th and was greeted by 4 dozens of roses. The vars just looked great and I was given a warm welcome by our Canadian friends, Ileana and Peter - Great to be back.

Am 14. November bin ich wieder nach Thailand zureuckgekommen und Juergen hat mich erstmal mit 4 Dutzend Rosen ueberrascht. Die Katzen waren wie aus dem ei gepellt und Peter nd Ileana, unsere canadischen Freunde haben mich herzlich willkomen geheissen.... Schoen wieder da zu sein.
