Phraoo Chiang Dao February - Research 3 days

A three days research of Phrao and Chiang Dao beginning of March. It was too hot to take the big bike... so we put the scooter on the truck.

3 Tage Recherche in Phrao und Chiang Dao - Anfang März. Es war bereits zu heiss um das Big Bike zu nehmen.

First stop Wat chittikon in the middle of nowhere- bewtwwen Mae Taeng and Mae Ngat Dam.

Just before Phrao Longkod Plive station with a small sheep farm. Regular markets on the weekend.

Staying at Arunthai in Phrao - Yogurt unloaded the bike and took a dip in the still cold pool

Khum Lanna is one of the most beautiful homestays in the area... an old teakwood house combined with Thai hospitality.

The following day we took off to Chiang Dao, which is just a mere 40 k ride from Phrao on the scooter.
Am nächten Tag ging es mit dem Scooter nach Chiang Dao. Das liegt nur ca. 40 km von Phrao entfernt

Yogurt has caught a cold I guess the pool was just too cold - however we went to Chiang Dao again. This time we went up the Wildlife Sanctuary and the road was too steep to carry us both on the scooter so I walked the first 5 km befor a truck took me too the top. wehre I met Yogurt and we drove down together which was not a prob.

Yogurt hat sich wohl bei seinem Pool Ausflug erköltet, trotzdem sind wir wieder nach Chiang Dao gefahren. Diesmal ging es in Wildlife Sanctuary. Leider waren die Strassen zu steil, als das wir beide mit dem Scooter nach oben fahren konnten. So lief ich die ersten 5 km bis mich ein Truck mitnahm. Yogurt traf ich oben und die Runterfahrt war kein Problem
