March 2020 a day in a Lisu Village ..

We met Mike and Punne in her Lisu village close to Chiang Dao... We were greeted with utmost hospitability, and took part in the every day village life - Punnee´s Village will definitely be in our hilltribe programme for next year. The food was great and very traditionally made...

Poor Giraffe suffered from migrane so we decided to spend the night in Chiang Dao - Thank you Sarah for the lovely room , great food and good company

The next morning we took a 250 km detour as we also wanted to say hi to Tan and John in Fang.

The next morning we went to visit Hinoki Land first, before continuing to Thaton and then up North to  Mae Sai to do the visa run and some more sightseeing

Hinoki Land was built by a Thai National who has spent most of his time in Japan and wants to share the great architecture and style of life with his country.

Stop in Thaton to see the great pagoda of Wat Thaton.

Further on to Mae Sai and then we checked into our simplwe Bungalows close to Mae Sai - night was chilly so happy about the fire at the local bar.
