Amazing Siam: January 2022

On August 15th we went from Khanom to Sukkhothai in One Go - Spent the night @ Leghendah and on the 16th went straight to Eveline and Heinz - who offered us a soft landing in Chiang Mai.

We had a wonderful friends finally reunited time with fun, meetings and lots of laughter...

We got back home on August 21st just to discover that Rusty has been in a really bad state. His skin desease has bworsened and the skin cracked open anywhere he was bleeding and suffering so we put him to sleep on September 12th - Miss the little Beagle... who adopted us 10 years ago

Whilst giving the house a deep clean and making ourselves feel home again - lots of things were going on. Mahjongg started again, Minigolf as well, SKAL meetings resurfaced and and and... never a dull moment.

And another year has passed Saeli in Doi Saket on November 4th.

On November 12th the presidents of the Swiss Societies in Thailand, and the Ambassador Helen Budliger Artieda and the General Consul Pierre Chabroz arrived in Chiang Mai - First evening Christian Brunner talked about his job at the International Red Cross, followed by a dinner in the Garden @ Horizon Resort in Doi Saket.

The president conference the next day was a great opportunity for networking and dinner @ Locanda in Doi Saket was mouthwatering.

On Sunday we went to The Umbrella Factory to draw umbrellas and went to Baan Celadon by Tassanee where we had lunch and were taken through the factory and learnt a lot about the history of the special ceramic.
