From Saxonia back to Bavaria

After Yogurt tried the Bandid 1200 on the race track, which was obviously too heavy and by far too slow, but still some fun..   we went home to Horgau  - Thomas thanks a mill for your hospitality and the great days we have shared.. In Horgau we spent a great time with Peter, Natascha and the kiddos. Thanks for adopting us :-)

DANKE fuer alles.

Mr Giraffe right in the middle shouting - get the kids out of here :-)

We started our motorbike tour to Austria,  in the sun with blue Bavarian skies....I even shopped a Dirndl on the way - the assistant was quite amazed when the motorbike stopped in front of her shopand we actually left with a dress. Another stop for late lunch at Kochelsee and then we crossed the border to Austria - still blue skies in Tirol......about 30 minutes later - all of a sudden the skies were pitch black and we were caught in the middle of a hailstorm! The next morning blue skies as if nothing had happened.

Saxonia

After a few days in Horgau we left for Gersdorf, close to the Sachsen Circuit in Saxonia. Thomas garden offers loads of fruits and veggies that need to be prepared :-)
The weekend the IDM Grand Prix was happening at Sachsen Circuit and we had a nice weekend there, the first time we went to see a motorbike race on a bicycle......

On the last day Thomas took me to Dresden, also called Florence of the Elbe. Yogurt wasn´t feeling well at all so he stayed home. We cycled through Dresden and down the river Elbe to a bridge called Blaues Wunder. As it was my first time in Dresden I was amayed by the beauty of the city, with the stream of the Elbe running majestically through it.
