Spring Break combined with research 3 weeks in Krabi (Andaman Sea) Khanom (Chinese Sea) and Khao Lak ( Andaman Sea) Beach holiday at its best (Research was on as well)

Frühlingspause gepaart mit Recherche in Süd-Thailand - 3 Wochen. Zuerst Krabi (Andaman See) dann Khanom (Chinese Sea) und wieder zurück zur Andaman See - Khao Lak. Traumstrände für die perfekten Ferien - trotzt Recherche!

First Stop Krabi - we stayed for three days and enjoyed it to the max. Foot Scrub and Massage in Ao Nang, Researching the beaches andmeeting Renato @ Viva after a long time. Edith joined for dinner.


I found Nemo :-)

On the way to Koh Klang a small Muslim fishermen island a 5 mins boat ride from downtown Krabi. Not so much of a beachy island but loads of intact mangrove forest along the coastline.

Auf dem Weg nach Koh Klang, einer muslimischen Fischerinsel 5 Bootsminuten von Krabi Stadt entfernt bietet zwar nur wenig Sandstrand, dafür aber Natur pur und viele intakte Mangroven Wälder entlang der Küsten.

After 4 nights we are heading back to Andaman Coast - Khao Lak.
Nach 4 Nächten fahren wir wieder zurück an dei Andamanen Küste - Zielort Khao Lak

2 nights at Narinuira - due to construction site next door we had to move and found the most beautiful bungalow resort in Khuk Khak @ Golden Coconut Resort - Paradise and no other guests !

2 Nächte haben wir bei Paul im Nananuira übernachtet, hier haben wir dann aufgrund einer Baustelle nebenan ausgeccheckt und das paradiesische Golden Coconut Resort gefunden - Highlight keine weiteren Gäste!

Thank you Lori for making our trip to Koh Phra Thong so special! Horizon Eco Resort is just a beautiful spot for those who want to relax and want to be away from the masses.

Part of the inland of the island of Koh Phra Thong - The Golden Buddha island - is savanna - an interesting ride throught the island - thanks Ed for all the wonderful stories. Passing endemic orchids, paper trees and storch nests.

Teil der Insel Koh Phra Thong ist Savanne. Eine interessante Fahrt über die Insel mit Ed, der interessante Geschichten erzählt. Vorbei an endemischen Orchideenarten bis hin zuj Storchennestern.

The Golden Buddha Resort is a high class Lodge with a beautiful ambiance. Thanks Massi for the tour.

Für März hatten wir seltsames Wetter. Normalerweise regnet es noch nciht so viel um diese Jahreszeit.

The next day we went to see Olli at Ao Tha Lane - so good nothing much has changed.
As we were quite shocked how much development has been goingon in Ao Nang and Klong Muang.

Am nächsten Tag sind wir nach Ao Tha Len zu Olli ins Banans gefahren, auch hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben, anders als in Ao Nang und ganz schlimm in Klong Muang, sind die Bauvorhaben leider ins uferlose ausgeartet...
